Field Notes

Description:

A small moth with a wingspan of about 12mm. The wings which gave it a perfect triangular shape were a deep cream-colour. The colour faded towards the costal margins and apices. The thorax and abdomen appeared grey with dense whiteish "fur". Each antenna was about three-quarters the length of the wing and was bristled.

Habitat:

Spotted on an open grassland
