thanks for the help... I think it looks more like the Manduca sexta jamaicensis, because of the 2 dark circles on the back. I uploaded 2 more pics...Thanks! :D
Yep - sorry mine was ridiculously out of territory range :( Those sphinx & hawk moths all look so much alike, too!
Definitely a Manduca sp. and I would slightly tend to Manduca caribbeus. Other candidate would be Manduca sexta jamaicensis. However, the zigzag-like dark line at the base of the hindwing looks is not shown in yours, but in Sexta and the contrast of the markings are slightly other than in Sexta. But the links are not native specimens, so comparison is not easy. Please, verify!! For being on the safe side I might suggest that you add Manduca sp. until we have final confirmation.
