I don't know where to start with this one. It was on the sheet at the light set up at Pico Bonito.

Wow! Looks just like your spittlebug...until you look really closely! Great capture of both!!
Maria, I had to take a good look to figure out this was a moth.
Cool spotting; I would have thought this was a bug or beetle, not a moth.
I tried several searches but did not find a match. Will keep it in mind. Who knows. :)
MuseTD is does look like this spittlebug http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/17593280, but the antennae are different, like a mot should have. Gatorfellows, thanks for the tip. So far I haven't been able to find a lichen moth like this, but I'll keep trying.
I know these as Lichen moths, similar striping on legs and wings, however the three black dots are not present. Here is a reference you can possibly use to narrow your search; http://bugguide.net/node/view/16269
