Description:

Named because of the devil head-shaped fruiting body this beautiful Australian plant is a stunning splash of colour in the bush. Leaves are narrow and sharply pointed, red flowers can be produced all year round, although peak season is Spring, a shrub it grows to around 2 metres tall.

Habitat:

Found in NSW and pockets around the state, often associated with sandstone or sandy soil areas. This one found in the spectacular Blue Mountains region.
