Field Notes

Description:

A nymphal assassin bug with a leaf beetle larva on it's rostrum. Body length was about 15mm. Beetle larva was probably a Paropsid. I was impressed with how fast the reduviid could run with the beetle on it's beak.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve on eucalyptus stems.
