Field Notes

Description:

A collection of perhaps 100 nymphs arranged in a 'fan' formation along the upper, exposed edge of a single leaf. The rest of the plant was clear.

Habitat:

Edge of a car park on the lakeside.

Notes:

Available light and Dof were such that I couldn't really show the aggregation of nymphs and get at least 1 in focus.

Hi, it would be great if you could add this spotting and others of insects from Costa Rica to the mission "Insects of Costa Rica": https://www.projectnoah.org/missions/10022250
