Description:
This moth has a pinkish hue at certain angles and two tiny bright white dots on the upper wings close to the body, so close in fact, that as the wings open the spots are not visible. Pictures 3, 4 and 5 are of an individual taken on 12 June 2013. These lack the dark band below the pale band on the upper wings. The last picture was taken on 16 April 2014 at an ultraviolet light.
Habitat:
Attracted to the parking lot lights of a shopping mall on the outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters. It was cold - 9º C.
