Description:
The Orange Mint Moth or Orange-spotted Pyrausta (Pyrausta orphisalis) is a species of moth of the Crambidae family. It is found from Newfoundland west to British Columbia, south to Florida and New Mexico.
The wingspan is about 17 mm. The moth flies from June to July depending on the location.
The larvae feed on various mint species, including Monarda.

Notes:
The hind wings were yellow and black. The yellow was creamish and the black was above and below the yellow line. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph this side. The antennae extend almost the whole body length.
