Approx. 30mm wingspan.

Habitat:

Bushland, open forests. Found in Queensland, News South Wales, Northern Territory, Northern Regions of Western Australia.

Notes:

Spotted while out on Yuggera/Turrbal Country at the Seven Hills Bushland Reserve in Brisbane (4170), Queensland.

I love photographing butterflies but they can be tricky to capture with all the flitting about. This fella followed me a little way down a rock track and stopped just long enough for me to grab a happy snap then off he went into the wild to live out his best butterfly life doing what butterflies do best. Thanks for posing little mate!
