Description:

Flower heads are white and are arranged in large flat clusters. Numerous leaves taper toward both ends. Often 2 to 4 feet tall.

Habitat:

Spotted along the shore of South Tamarac Lake, Tamarac NWR.

Notes:

Minnesota: a common tall, white aster of open marshes and brushy swamps.
