Habitat:

It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and pastureland. (Wikipedia)

Notes:

This Pipit was in the grass just off the road at 12,000 - 13,000 feet elevation in the Antisana Ecological Reserve, Ecuador.
