Habitat:

This one was found on a grassy area surrounded by forest that included a lot of eucalypts trees.

I think this is a young Phlebopus Pam. Lucky you. The biggest mushroom in Aus. Some are a metre across.

That's a super find at this stage of the season. Some kind of bolete. Was it big?
