Description:

Medium-sized, arboreal squirrel, dark on top, white underneath as shown. Largely replaces Fox Squirrel above 6,500 feet elevation here.

Habitat:

Mixed conifer forest with some oak as well. Steep slope.

Notes:

Known by many other common names.
