Field Notes

Description:

Yellow headed warbler with slightly darker eyeline, gray wings, bold white wingbars, yellow breast and flanks tapering to white near tail.

Habitat:

Usually found in or near forests with pine trees

Notes:

Spotted Pine Warbler in a stream that runs through Fulwood Park, Tifton, GA. I initially thought it was another leaf falling from another tree, but when I poked my head around the tree and down the bank, I was pleasantly surprised to see the warbler bathing.
