Description:

This is one of the larger hopper's I have seen it is just under 1/2" long.

Habitat:

tropical humid forest in SW Costa Rica

Nogodinidae, Biolleyana sp., formerly called Sassula sp., sorry, no electronic reference. There are several different species in Costa Rica, I only know Costata and Costalis. I just remembered my former ID, where I called this one Net-winged Planthopper. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8306946
