@Mark Ridgway @Saturniidae27 thanks for the input... posting duly edited and updated.!
The wing/window patterns do not match well at all on either of your links. The iNaturalist specimen has been up for nearly a year and not confirmed yet by any other member(s). There are at least 18 species and I can only find images for 3 of those so how can we be certain it is not one of the other 15? From deeper reading it would be helpful to have accurate wing venation to compare for this family but until then I would stay at genus level.
My link seems to be showing a darker version of Ricanoptera fenestrata. Here is a more alike specimen of Ricanoptera fenestrata(: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/20294587
Genus looks ok but I'm not convinced of species. https://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/fulgor/ricaniidae/ricanop.htm
@Saturniidae27 thanks for the ID... much appreciated.!
