Description:

This plant is also known by the common name of Dixie Iris, Southern Blue Flag Iris, and in FL the Prairie Iris. It is a blue-violet leaf w/ slight yellow in the center towards the center. The flower sits atop a long green stalk.

Habitat:

This flower was in a semi swampy area off a boardwalk of a County nature Preserve.
