Field Notes

Description:

The male has red coloration with a dark line.
They feed on insects caught in the air or on the ground

Habitat:

Living in camps and cerrado. Besides the colors, stands out for its habit of landing on exposed branches, fences and wires. It occupies the open environments, since fields, river beaches with thick bushes and even edges of forest vegetation.
