Description:

A highly variable caterpillar in the Noctuidae family of Owlet caterpillars, the color of Caenurgina crassiuscula ranges from a pumpkin orange to a blackish coloring. The extra set of prolegs suggests Noctuidae over Geometridae.

Habitat:

Grasses, commonly feed on clover.

Notes:

Also known as Clover Looper.
