Field Notes

Description:

Two rapid fire shots the moment I saw them at dawn through the window, the Nuthatch having joined the Robin for early breakfast. In the few seconds it took to get the focus correct, trying to shoot obliquely through the glass window, never a good idea, the Robin had flown. The Nuthatch will be on its own in the next spotting.

Habitat:

Grassy patch outside hotel window, adjacent to wooded area.
