@giantpanda31, you clearly have a lot to learn. This is the original Robin from hundreds of years ago, long before the American colonists discovered a similar but much larger bird in North America and mistakenly called it a Robin. Your American Robin, as it is more correctly known as, is actually a member of the Thrush family so not a Robin at all. Worldwide there are many species of true Robin, of which this was the first recorded and it is still alive and well and living in Europe. Asia and Africa.
