Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Arctiini. A common Tiger moth.TL 15-18 mm. Resembles Large Ruby Tiger Moth. Semi-translucent FW is rusty/dark brown with a smal black spot. Brown HW has pinkish shading and a black spot. Reddish abdomen is marked with rows of black spots. Hosts: low plants such as goldenrod, sunflower
