Description:

Dichrostachys cinerea, is known as Kalahari Christmas tree in South Africa after it's flower which blooms as Xmas approaches. It is a legume of the genus Dichrostachys in the family Fabaceae. Also known as sicklebush (sekelbos in Afrikaans), Bell mimosa or Chinese lantern tree.
