Habitat:

Along the coasts of the Caribbean sea, on sea grass beds and on reefs. Mainly night active, they may also be seen foraging during daylight.

Notes:

Enjoyed watching this guy forage about the shallow gravelly / algae beach.

Yes, this eel is underwater. Not very deep; it was hunting among the pebbles and algae in a very shallow beach. I’ll try to add a video soon.
Is this eel not under water? I honistly thought that all eels had to stay under water. Now I think I now nothing about eels.
