Field Notes

Description:

The silver teal male and female ducks have are easily identified because of their beautifully double colored beak: orange and blue, double colored head: dark brown and whitish beige, and double colored feathers of the body: brown and beige.
In this case several of them swam calmly while sharing a peaceful and acquatic moment with other fellow animals.

Habitat:

It can be seen around Southamerica.
These ones were spotted at the Capybara´s lake in "Parque Lecocq" reserve.

And the jacana... I thought so too María =)
How cool to get ducks and capybaras together!
The silver teal is a duck, next to it you may find a capybara. Here you have some other pictures of it: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/12189326 Then, you also have a bird which is a jacana.
