Description:

Orange upperwings marbled with yellow and black, and with a row of blue spots inside a dark marginal band on both wings. This one has emerged from hibernation. Double-brooded, will produce a new generation of adults in July, a subsequent brood appears Aug-Sep and these adults hibernate.
