Field Notes

Description:

Some were new and white; others darker maybe because of dust. All were intricately constructed with round tunnel-like opening. Did not see the denizens lurking inside or any victim though I did peer.

Habitat:

We were walking up from Kolakham Retreat to the Jungle Valley Camp and these webs were quite common...side by side...along the hillside. The area is remote, forested and very close to the Indo-Nepal border.
