Description:

The spotted hawkfish can reach a maximum length of 9.5 cm. They are red-pink and white in color and they have tassles on the tip of their dorsal fins.Color pattern is variable according to locality and depth. Individuals from deeper water frequently have a pinkish undercolor with more closely set, irregular red to maroon spots.

Habitat:

Is a hawkfish of the family Cirrhitidae found across the Indo West Pacific oceans.They inhabit tropical reefs and they feed on very small fish and benthic invertebrates.
