Description:

Started to take a sniff of this beautiful smelling daylilly when I realized I was not alone. Hunkered down deep in the Lilly's cup was what I think is a Spring Peeper.... Hyla crucifer? Pretty imaginative place to hide out during the day!

Habitat:

Swamps and marshes... rarely seen by day only at night. An the early sign of spring when you can hear hundreds calling usually in evening.
