Field Notes

Description:

Up to 8 cm (3 in.), these gobies are white with 5 brown bars on head and body. Dark iris with tiny yellow spots on both dorsal fins. Narrow orange bars between dark body bars.

Habitat:

Although not seen here (because they keep the shrimp warned of potential danger so she stays inside the burrow) these gobies share burrow with alpheid shrimps.
