Description:
A hanging cluster of wood detritus signals the presence of a stem borer moth larva. These moth larvae spend most of their lives inside a right-angled hole within a small branch often coming out at might to feed then returning.
Habitat:
On a small casuarina branch within national park.
Notes:
Probable hepialidae larva. Yet to search for ID. Likely species indeterminate.
