Description:

Long body, six legs, two antenna, see-through wings

Habitat:

Both adults and larvae live primarily in cold, running streams and rivers. The larvae live on the bottom of the streams and rivers.

Notes:

These photos were taken in Stonefly development in Cashiers, North Carolina. This is the headwaters of the Chattooga River.
