Description:

Olive-backed Sunbird is a nectar feeding bird, it's local name is "Tamsi" Cebuano or "Tseweet" taken from its bird call which sounds like che-wheeeet often a loud, clear sweeet, sweeet ..., its just about 12 cm long, the male songbird has a black throat

Habitat:

Coconut plantations, second growth, scrub and gardens
