Description:

Terapon jarbua, Target Fish, Crescent Bass, Crescent Perch or Tiger Bass[1] is a Grunter from the Indo-Pacific. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 36cm in length although is rarely seen half that size in the aquarium. It gets its name from the concentric circle pattern that can be seen from above, resembling a target. Feeds on insects, plant matter, small fish and crustaceans. Can be found in brackish water in certain parts of Australia.

Habitat:

Found at the mouth of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park in Palawan, Philippines.
