Description:

UPDATE: found tentative ID
This was on my pool deck this morning. It is definitely a gastropod, but it looks like it has a hammerhead. There is a long dark stripe down the middle. I have NEVER seen this slug before. At first I thought it was a type of centipede because it was moving pretty fast. When I flipped it over though, it had no legs and was sticky. Then I noticed the slime trail. Very cool. Could it be a platyhelmith?

Habitat:

Central Florida

Looks just like a flatworm I have listed here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/2150616002 Likewise tentatively, I agree with your identification of the creature as Bipalium vagum.
