Description:

Clumps of basal leaves thickly covered with white hairs. Many narrow ray-flowers, white to pink.

Habitat:

Rocky soil in open grassy meadows or shrub-steppe.

Notes:

John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Sheep Rock Unit. Blue Basin Overlook.
