Field Notes

Description:

One of the tinniest orb web spiders, at 2-3mm in length. They can spin large orb webs in comparison to their little size. They are common and are widespread as far as the winds can bring them.

Habitat:

Labuk Bay swamp area, Sandakan, Sabah. Usually abundant in urban gardens and bare lands.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 1 km diameter. These are one of the smallest species of orb web spiders in the world.
