Description:

Looking a bit lost because he was just turning around in circles, a tiny (3mm) black weevil sharing a eucalyptus leaf with a clam-like shell lerp.

Habitat:

Eucalyptus microcarpa in suburban back yard.

Notes:

Curculionidae - also 'snout beetles' - Yet to search for ID.

Hi casualcasualties0010. Thanks heaps for your suggestion. The one you have described doesn't live in Australia as far as I can tell. Also he's sort of a different shape too. Guess I'll have to keep looking for an Aussie one.
