Field Notes

Description:

Nocturnal bug with a less angular form than other stink bugs. The front of four spots on the thorax are lumps while the rear set are dots. Medium length plain antenna and plain dark legs. There are bands appearing as a chequered line around the rear of the body. 10mm approx. Large black eyes

Habitat:

Unknown tree trunk which is being strangled by an equally unknown vine

Notes:

The name Toad Stink Bug is from the Brisbane insects site and has not been verified by another site I have seen yet
