Description:

A magnificent old tree with a root system growing around a giant square boulder. This tree hasn't changed hardly at all in the last 40 years. It might be a strangler fig?

Habitat:

Chorreadero Park, Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas. Growing on boulders above a small year-round river which emerges from a cave.
