Field Notes

Description:

Yellow Leafhopper with a black stripe down the back. The common name is due to the two black spots on the end. There is red along the sides of the black stripes. I have never seen this much red in this species.

Habitat:

Eucalyptus tree in local park. This species is native to Asia but is found in the southern US states and Mexico.
