Field Notes

Notes:

This was under a rock I was moving. It caught my eye because of the bright blue color. I think it is some kind of insect but really have no idea. This morning it was gone. I don't know where to begin looking for an ID so I hope Noah experts can help out.

Species ID Suggestions

Thanks. I was looking for blue cocoons and found a photo that looks a bit similar - "The beautiful blue silk cocoon of a Enophlognatha spider". Maybe that is it. http://abugblog.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
