3/4 inch long, fawn colour, dark eye, antiqued wings, short snout

Habitat:

garden in Pacific Northwest rainforest, sitting on a leaf in the rudebeckia plants

Notes:

After a 2 month drought here I wasn't sure what to expect on moth night. Nothing landed on my sheet! so I scouted the gardens and found a couple moths. It has rained for the first time since early May today so I hope to find more moths tonight!
