Field Notes

Description:

Genus Catocala. Large moth with mostly gray/white coloration. Yellowish spot on each forewing. Probably will remain unknown species since I was unable to get a view of the underwings.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Nolin Lake State Park, Kentucky.
