Description:

Coccinellidae; Coccinellinae; Coelophora inaequalis Fabricius, 1775. According to Wikipedia; "The variable ladybird gets its name from the black markings on the adult elytra, that vary from one individual to another." This copulating couple were spotted this afternoon at 2:00 pm.

Habitat:

I spotted this copulating pair in our backyard vegetable plot on String Beans (Vigna unguiculata) locally known as Sitaw.
