Description:

Marbled buff and white moth with two blueish-green (metallic-looking) spots at hindwing. Long 'tail', wings roughly shaped. Last photo shows the moth 'humming' with its wings because it didn't like me near it with a camera!

Thanks for the ID help! Can find photos of this moth, but not much in the way of a description. Think I need to spend some more time trawling the internet!
Noctuidae, Eutelinae, Eutelia adualtrix!! I forgot the common name: Wheedler.
Did anybody thought this is NOT a Sphingidae??? Incredible! I checked a few days ago hundreds of European sphinx, nothing! Guess what it is???
Very nice sphinx moth! Try searching the Sphingidae species for your region.
