Description:

Photo take in my on the grown it has a nice shade. Unpperside and underside are the same black and yellow stripes and dots about 9 cm wingspan has small red dots next to the abdomen.

Habitat:

The butterfly ranges over parts of North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. In North America the butterfly is found in the southern parts of the United States including Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North and South Carolina. In South and Central America, it has been recorded in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Wikipedia

Beautiful spotting! It almost looks like it's standing on the tip of the tail (or whatever you call it technically) and the shadow looks like an eagle. Love the smiley face on the back, too. :-)
