Hello! I recently had a pleasantly surprising visit to the Qatar Airways Johannesburg Office. I went in to inquire about upgrading seats generally and left with much more than I anticipated. The personnel were friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable, even offering me alternatives I hadn't thought of. What was most notable was how human the experience was—non-transactional at all. The office is efficiently operated, not packed, and has a peaceful atmosphere. It's obvious that this isn't some airline that merely boasts about five-star service—here they provide it.
