Mysore Medical College & Research Institute (MMC&RI) — previously known as Government Medical College, Mysore — is one of India’s oldest, most respected government medical institutions, located in Mysore (Mysuru), Karnataka, India. Established in 1924 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, it was the first medical college in the Karnataka region and among the earliest in the country.
