Smilex was established at the turn of the millennium. It began operating out of a tiny 500 sq. ft. office located in Deccan. At first, we were a sole proprietorship but in 2008 we registered ourselves as a company. Over a period we extended our business boundaries by opening a small chain of dental centers, diagnostic centers and CDE education programs. Gradually we gained experience and got clearer about our company's goals. In fact, at the present time, Smilex is not only the top dental implant and aligner supplier in India but also stands as a center of dental excellence. Dr. Vijay Deshmukh, MDS obtained his Bachelor degree in 1989 and the Postgraduate degree in 1992 from Nagpur University. Besides being a recipient of 6 awards in dentistry, he has been running a private practice since 1992. At the same time, he is also engaged in teaching in different universities in India.
